About Jameel
Hi! I’m a recent Year 12 graduate and an incoming Electrical Engineering student at UNSW. I’ve always enjoyed Math, Physics and Chemistry, and I love breaking down difficult concepts into simple, understandable steps.
I want to tutor because I know how frustrating it can be when a subject doesn’t immediately make sense. I want to help students build that understanding and confidence rather than just memorizing answers. My aim is to make lessons relaxed, personalized and focused on helping each student genuinely improve.

I focus on making lessons personal, clear, and genuinely useful for each student. Rather than simply giving answers or following a textbook, I first identify what the student is struggling with and then adapt the lesson around their specific needs.
I break difficult concepts into simple steps, explain why things work, and use plenty of practice questions to make sure the student can apply what they’ve learned independently. I also adjust my teaching style depending on the student—whether they need concepts explained from the basics, help catching up, exam preparation, or more challenging questions.
My goal isn’t just to help students get better marks, but to help them actually understand the subject and become confident solving problems on their own.
