About Henry
Hi! My name is Henry, I am a second year university student studying at the University of Warwick. I am studying Mathematics and Philosophy, which means I get to go from proving the “Fundamental Theorem of Calculus” to debates on what it really means to be “good”. I know more than any that GCSE’s and A-Levels are a scary time, but with my help we will turn Maths into something you not only understand, but hopefully enjoy! My aims are to further the depth of your understanding about the subjects you’ve studied, and through this push you into achieving your highest potential. Past papers are a crucial resource, and as your exams near we will go over these so that you feel prepared and can walk into the exam hall confident you will succeed.

Whilst studying for my A-Levels it became very clear to me that in order to achieve high results in mathematics, drive, commitment and passion were all key.
Lessons will focus on 3 things
1) Learning - Here we will discuss new content, and expand on current knowledge
2) Understanding- In this stage, we will take what we have just learnt and look to find intuitive explanations for why it works, and provide insight of its uses in the real world, with the aim of deepening understanding of the subject
3) Consolidation - Finally, we will look at practice questions, and past papers to assure we can put our knowledge into practice, where I can provide feedback on quality of work, and presentation.
Lessons are recommended to be between 1-2 hours, and will be online.
They are recommended for students in year 10 and 11 (GCSE) and year 12 and 13 (A-Level)
I have tutored many of my peers, and family with many showing great progress in not only test scores, but also their understanding of maths, and their passion for it.
