About Mina

Hi, I’m Mina, a student at Wellesley College as well as an experienced English tutor with a strong background in teaching reading comprehension, essay writing, and language analysis. I’ve worked with elementary and middle school students to help them grow more confident in their reading and writing skills, especially when it comes to understanding complex readings and expressing their ideas clearly in writing. In high school, I scored a 5 on both AP English Language and AP English Literature, and I take pride in my passion for analytical writing, rhetoric, and literary interpretation. I bring that same depth of understanding to my teaching and love sharing my students' growth and achievements. As a tutor, I’m patient, organized, and committed to helping students feel supported every step of the way. I always come prepared, communicate clearly, and focus on building a strong foundation that students can carry with them into future classes.
