About Julia
I am a current senior at one of the top universities in America, about to graduate with a dual degree in History and Political Philosophy. I have been a research fellow for the past year, studying the failures of Democracy in Soviet Russia and its impact on contemporary American-US relations. After graduation, I am going to be interning at the Pentagon and getting a masters in Counterintelligence.
Outside of school,I love to write creative stories and customize shoes.My love of art comes in handy while I'm tutoring because I am able to approach material in a more creative manner and relate to my students well. I do not want to give them a bad impression of subjects that they could really enjoy if they have the right support. This is an approach that I've seen work at every level, including people I tutor who are getting their MBA .

Hello!
Thank you so much for considering me as a tutor for you or your child.
I love teaching and helping students through difficulties they may have with coursework. But, I also want to make sure that the children are engaged and approach the information from a more positive viewpoint. This is why my tutoring tends to involve educational games or creative spins on homework to help decrease the dread of otherwise-tedious homework. My lesson plans are tailored to each student differently, and I am to ensure that I take into account the personality of the student(s) when considering how to approach material in the most effective way.
I have been told by many parents that my ability to create a personal connection has helped to positively influence their child's approach to learning.
I love to teach all ages, and I have experience working with children ages 2-10, high school, college, and disabled children.Aside from being a tutor I have also been a horseback riding instructor for disabled kids over the past 6 years and helped grad students with a plethora of subjects.
