About Ellen
Hi, I’m Ellen! I’m a passionate violinist with experience performing in different ensembles such as the Collegium Musicum Kleine Orchester(Technical University Berlin and Free University Berlin Orchestra) in Germany. I earned my ABRSM 5 with distinction in 2021, and since then, I’ve continued to develop my skills through advanced lessons and by exploring new music.
I have been trained by accomplished teachers, including a Sydney Conservatorium of Music graduate and a guest concertmaster of the Berliner Symphoniker with BM from New England Conservatory and MM from San Francisco Conservatory of Music, whose mentorship continues to influence my teaching style and performance approach.

I welcome violin learners of all ages, from complete beginners to intermediate players. I truly believe it’s never too late to start learning and excelling at the violin—with dedicated effort and thoughtful guidance, any ages can become good at playing the instrument. My lessons focus on building a strong technical foundation while nurturing musicality, because music should speak to the heart as much as the hands.
Whether you’re picking up the violin for the first time or looking to build on what you’ve already learned, I’d love to support you on your musical journey. My lessons are patient, encouraging, and adapted to your pace and personal goals—whether that means gaining confidence, mastering your favorite pieces, or preparing for exams.
I believe learning the violin should be both meaningful and enjoyable, and I’m here to make the process as rewarding as it is fun.
