About Jenna
I am a singing tutor with 6 years of experience working with vocalists. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with a specialization in Lieder and Art Song. This training supports clarity and expression. My focus is vocal improvisation for jazz and blues singers. Improvisation is taught with patience and structure. Scat singing is broken down into manageable steps. Students learn how to use rhythm creatively. Melodic embellishment is explored thoughtfully. I teach singers how to shape melodic ideas. Advanced harmony is introduced in simple terms. Theory is always connected to listening. Ear training is a key part of my lessons. Students learn to recognize harmonic movement.
