About Sybren

I am Sybren Corveleijn and I live in Bruges. I am studying Greek and Mathematics in the third stage of secondary education. I have a strong passion for teaching and regularly tutor fellow students at school. My interests lie mainly in chemistry and mathematics. Later, I want to further develop my talent and use it as a professor, with a particular interest in veterinary medicine. Additionally, I am strong in languages. Feel free to contact me for tutoring in Dutch, English, French, Greek, and possibly Latin. Outside of school, I am active in theatre and practice both modern fencing and HEMA fencing.

About the lesson

Are you looking for clear and structured tutoring in secondary education? I help students up to and including the fifth year to gain real insight into the subject matter. What you can expect: During my online tutoring sessions, I work in a highly structured manner and tailored to the student. We start with the problem and build from there gradually. I explain difficult concepts clearly and ensure that the student develops insight themselves rather than simply memorizing information. To help the material stick better, I use: clear step-by-step explanations, mnemonic techniques, visual support via a digital whiteboard, and extra PowerPoints that are sent after the lesson. I strongly believe in a gradual build-up and active learning. By practicing regularly, reasoning together, and analyzing mistakes, we build deep and lasting understanding. Every lesson is goal-oriented, well-organized, and tailored to the student's needs.
