About Eamon
I'm a composer and trumpeter currently studying towards a Bachelor of Music (Composition) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I am new to private teaching, but I have a long history of actively leading and teaching others in high school music ensembles, and have frequently offered composition advice to my peers.

I am looking to assist any high school students currently undergoing music assessments involving composition tasks. My teaching is strongly informed by the student's work - a lesson would likely involve listening and looking through a student's piece, discussing what does and doesn't work, and suggesting improvements. I would discuss instrumental conventions, compositional tools, and any relevant musical works. I would aim to focus on students existing musical interests, knowledge, and skills.
