About Elise
I am a former professional ballet dancer and so am well versed in the complexities of juggling academics with intense training to meet the needs of a demanding profession. As a result, I understand the difficulties of meeting increasingly pressurized academic demands whilst maintaining a fun and hobby-filled lifestyle.
Specializing in exam technique and analytical skills, I help students understand and navigate the complexities of English literature, making it accessible, engrossing and enjoyable for even the most uninterested students.
In my lessons we tackle Shakespeare, modern prose, 19th century literature, referencing and analyzing, subject specific terminology and creative writing.
I discovered teaching during a period of injury and have not stopped since. I enjoy giving student the tools that they need to achieve their learning goals, whilst challenging them with unique and innovative ways of working out and formulating their answers.
Despite my hectic training schedule, I received the English prize upon graduating school and received honours in my Bachelor of Arts whilst performing as a professional ballet dancer in Munich.

I focus on tailoring my lessons to meet the individual student's needs. Whether it be passing an exam or simply growing their confidence, I work with students one on one, giving them the tools they need to improve their English language and literature skills.
