About Asia
Hello! I recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Computer Science, a minor in Cognitive Science, and a Certification in Financial Technology. I have been tutoring students since August of 2021 and I thoroughly enjoy my work. I love to maintain connections with my students so I can be of assistance with anything they might need later down the road. I have always strived for success through my academic and professional career. In high school, I graduated with a 4.24 and I graduated college with a 3.91 (Summa Cum Laude). One of my main goals with tutoring is to not only set my students up for success with one unit or course, but to give my students the knowledge and encouragement needed to be the best student they can be. While I am here for academic tutoring, I am more than open to provide professional and academic life and help set up an achievable academic plan!

I tend to request the students' homework/classwork/textbooks beforehand so that I can come to the lesson prepared with a lesson plan, answer key, and detailed explanations for the problems. I believe it is most effective when I let the students start to solve the problem, let them make their mistakes, then correct the mistakes in a different color to help them identify and correct pain points when reviewing content. I can provide tutoring for anyone seeking lessons in a wide range of classes that mostly cover middle school, high school, and lower-level University math and computer science coursework. I love to bond with my students to make tutoring feel exciting and not comparable to a task! I know this happens through process. My goal is to have every student feeling way more confident walking out than they did walking in. As the eldest sister to three siblings, I've learned flexibility!
