I am a Citadel grad with 5 years of tutoring experience as an undergrad and 3 years as a formal educator. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in English Literature, Communication, and Fine Arts. I teach by discussing, modeling, and then guiding. Discussing helps synthesize ideas. Modeling helps lead the student as they watch or listen to an example. In the guiding phase I step back to provide encouragement or advice as the student takes the lead on their work.
