About Cheng
My undergraduate degree is from Henan Normal University, an excellent university in China that specialises in training teachers. My postgraduate degree is from UCC, majoring in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. I am currently working in the Chinese Department at Maynooth University. I am a conscientious and responsible teacher, and my students always make great progress.

I believe that language is a tool not a technique. So I will use different teaching methods to keep students interested in Chinese and at the same time comfortable using it. I have taught primary and secondary Chinese in China, Thailand and Europe. Currently, I teach Chinese to university students at MU.
