About Yasmen
I have extensive experience working with all ages. At an elementary level, I have worked with struggling kids in math and literacy. At a high school level, I have worked with ESL students. Finally, at a university level, I have marked essays.

My teaching philosophy is to centre the student-teacher relationship throughout my work. This means patience, care (taking a brief moment to ask about the student's day), mental health awareness and tailoring lessons to every student's unique' needs. I also feel that it is important to teach basic study skills when possible.
