About Amy
After years of teaching in local schools, I realised that not every student is best suited to the rigid environment of the traditional school system. One day I discovered that there is a whole movement of Self-Directed Learners who are succeeding in life without school and I knew I had to help more people discover this option for their families.

I start by finding out what a student's interests are and what their learning style is. I then help them find ways to explore their interests in the real world. This might mean suggesting an online course, helping them start a local meetup group or connecting them with an industry expert.
