About Rebecca

Hello! As an experienced educator, I have a passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential. With a Masters Degree in Education and over ten years of teaching experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my tutoring sessions.

Throughout my career, I have worked with students of various age groups and academic levels, including elementary, middle, and high school students. I have a deep understanding of different learning styles and know how to tailor my teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each student.

My teaching philosophy centers around creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe in building strong relationships with my students, fostering open communication, and instilling a love for learning.

Whether it's providing extra support in specific subjects, preparing for exams, or developing essential study skills, I am dedicated to helping students achieve academic success.

During our tutoring sessions, I employ a variety of research-based instructional approaches, such as multi-sensory learning, visual aids, and differentiated instruction, to engage students and make learning enjoyable. I specialize in adapting curriculum materials and instructional methods to meet each student's specific needs, ensuring they grasp concepts and achieve their learning objectives. I emphasize building a strong rapport with my students, fostering a sense of trust and confidence that empowers them to take ownership of their learning journey.

In addition to academic support, I also focus on developing essential life skills, including organization, time management, and self-advocacy. I believe that these skills are crucial for students' long-term success and independence.
