About Matt
I’m a Psychology practitioner with a background in applied psychology and a PhD focusing on public health and behaviour change. But beyond the qualifications and job titles, I’m someone who genuinely enjoys helping others make sense of complex ideas and build confidence in their learning. Teaching and tutoring Psychology isn’t just a job for me — it’s something I care deeply about. I’ve worked with A-level and undergraduate students, and I’ve also seen my own two daughters go through university. That personal perspective helps me understand the pressures students face, whether it’s balancing deadlines, getting to grips with statistics, or simply finding a way to ask for help. My approach is collaborative and tailored — I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all teaching. Whether we’re working through SPSS output, exploring theories of personality, or tackling research methods, I’ll meet you where you are and support you to move forward with clarity and confidence. You’ll have space to ask questions, explore ideas, and challenge yourself in a way that feels safe and productive. Psychology and Research Methods Tuition – Focused, Practical Support for A-level and Undergraduate Students I offer tailored tuition in Psychology and Research Methods for A-level and university students, grounded in current academic and applied experience. Sessions are built around your needs and may include structured walkthroughs of topics, assessments to check understanding, and targeted curriculum-based reviews. My approach is collaborative. You’ll be encouraged to engage critically with the material, ask questions, and build confidence in a supportive, open environment. I currently lecture in Psychology at two universities and have experience supporting both A-level and undergraduate students to succeed in their studies.
