About Sahil
I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate from a Masters degree having acquired 87% overall Distinction (with an award for Best Postgraduate Student Prize for Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering) from De Montfort University. Plus a BEng from DMU for Mechanical Engineering graduating with First-Class Honours.
Specialising in design, I have a passion for mechanical engineering. I love watching people's understanding grow in my subject when I methodically explain to them the module in question.
I have gained understanding of various aspects of engineering that I am keen to teach others.
Available via online. Primarily looking for Sunshine Coast area students and general Queensland timezone. Also available other Australian timezones.

It is important to cater your lesson to YOUR requirements. We all learn at a different pace and need varying amounts of help. We can start with the basics, before moving onto more advanced so that you can become proficient in the software and excel at your studies.
As a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate, I have up to date knowledge and have always been the go-to person for my colleagues struggling with the software.
I will show you:
- 3D CAD modelling (solid and surface) techniques via PTC Creo primarily.
- FEA knowledge and techniques via ANSYS.
- CFD via ANSYS
- MATLAB basics (no more coding struggle!)
I may also be able to assist you in other areas, such as understanding thermodynamic concepts.
Ideally, these lessons will benefit undergraduate and postgraduate students with varying amounts of experience.
