About James
I am a year 13 sixth form student, studying particularly difficult maths-related A levels and I can remember at a certain time when I was studying for my GCSEs how much more efficient and easier my GCSE Maths Journey would be if I had access to a maths tutor who could provide me with excellent support, illustrating how to answer complex questions with a deeper understanding into why it works. I’m offering GCSE students an opportunity to apply themselves in a way that sees them achieve higher than they ever thought they were capable of. Moreover, I believe that tutorship at a GCSE level shouldn’t leave students struggling to afford tutoring support and end up not getting the grades they deserve. I’m offering considerably lower prices in comparison to other tutors as I believe every student deserves access to academic support. Teaching friends of mine as well as relatives has allowed me to be more appreciative of others and helped harness my skills as a tutor.

My tutoring session will often consist of going through past exam paper questions from the relevant exam board (typically AQA) and helping students understand how to approach each question, giving them more knowledge and understanding into each topic; knowing where they went wrong and how they can avoid mistakes and apply their ability to achieve grades they aspire to acquire at the end of GCSEs. My tutoring sessions will last 60 minutes and are relevant for GCSE students aiming for grades 4-9 in GCSE My Qualifications: Achieved grades 7-9 at GCSE Currently studying A levels - Maths, Physics and business Predicted A* B, A*
