About Haiying

Learning a new language can be challenging, but every small step you take brings you closer to your goal. Remember, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. I believe in your ability to succeed and am here to support you every step of the way. With dedication, practice, and the right guidance, you can achieve fluency and confidence in Chinese. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes—they are a natural part of the learning process. Together, we will turn challenges into achievements and celebrate your progress along the way.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy revolves around creating an engaging and interactive learning environment. I use a variety of teaching methods to ensure that my students find learning Chinese both enjoyable and practical.

My techniques include:
Conversational Practice: I emphasize real-life conversation skills to help students feel confident in speaking Chinese in everyday situations.
Cultural Activities: Understanding Chinese culture is crucial to mastering the language. I incorporate cultural activities, such as exploring Chinese traditions, festivals, and customs, to make learning more immersive.
Multimedia Resources: I use videos, audio recordings, and online tools to enhance the learning experience and cater to different learning styles.
Customized Lessons: Each student is unique, so I tailor my lessons to meet the individual needs and goals of my students. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced learner, I will create a personalized learning plan for you.

Typical Length of a Lesson:
A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes. This duration is optimal for maintaining focus and ensuring that we can cover various aspects of the language without overwhelming the student. However, I am flexible and can adjust the lesson length based on your preferences and learning pace.

My lessons are suitable for:
All Proficiency Levels: From complete beginners to advanced learners looking to refine their skills.
All Ages: Children, teenagers, and adults are all welcome.
Specific Goals: Whether you need help with academic Chinese, business Chinese, or simply want to learn conversational Chinese for travel or personal interest, I can tailor my lessons to meet your needs.
