About Charlie
Hi! I'm Charlie. I used to be a University lecturer in the Philippines, teaching mechanical engineering courses. I also worked as an online tutor in GoStudent, tutoring European students. I have a genuine passion for teaching and learning. I always enjoyed my 3 years of lecturing and tutoring, I don't even feel like I am working. So I can say teaching is a hobby for me. Currently, I am studying for a Master's in Auckland. I can provide lessons during off days in school. I would love to use the free time to be a useful guide to a student needing help.

I allow my student to try answering questions first then we work on correcting or refining mistakes after. This way, I will know my students' strengths and weaknesses, thus we can work on perfecting the lessons faster. I also use visual aids and draw diagrams live to demonstrate and explain complex lessons. I am tech inclined, I use web tools, software, spreadsheets, and AI to aid me with my own learning and schoolwork. So I can keep up with the modern and fast-paced demands of the current industry.
