About Pranav
I am someone who is curious about how everything works. As a kid, I was often told that I asked a lot of questions. However, some really inspiring figures in my life said that I ask inquisitive and insightful questions, and that they matter. So, I kept doing it, and I still do. As a tutor, I want to be the same guide and mentor that I had in my life, who motivated me to keep asking questions. I encourage students to engage deeply with the subject and to ask questions and express doubts. The best way to learn something is to engage with it till you find yourself feeling the things and the subjects. Sometimes it's hard to visualize and to approach a topic, especially if it's abstract, like many topics are in physics and especially in mathematics, and that's where a tutor like me can help. That's precisely what a tutor is for. People can explain concepts in a variety of different ways, and I am here to help students discover their own approach, the one that works best for them. That's what I believe makes me unique as a tutor; anyone can be a teacher, but it takes a lot to be a mentor for someone.

I believe that Mathematics and Science should be accessible to every student, regardless of background or financial limitations. I aim to help students build strong conceptual understanding, confidence, and problem-solving ability, rather than just memorizing formulas. I can teach any level of mathematics and Physics till college level and that includes but not limited to Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, basic and advanced calculus, Statistics, Probability, Set Theory, linear algebra, vector calculus, Classical Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, Waves, Optics, Nuclear Physics, Semiconductor and modern Physics, Introductory Cosmology, Electromagnetism, Special Relativity, Quantum Mechanics(Introductory) etc.
I teach at an affordable rate because I want learning to be accessible to everyone who seeks it with passion, and for money to not be a barrier, but rather a mere accessory. As a B.Tech student in Engineering Physics at IIT Guwahati, I bring structured thinking and depth to every lesson.
Having personally cleared one of the world's toughest entrance examinations, JEE Advanced, I understand both the conceptual depth and the exam-oriented strategies required to succeed. This enables me to effectively guide students who want to strengthen their fundamentals, as well as those preparing to take competitive exams.
My teaching approach emphasizes step-by-step explanations, logical reasoning, and plenty of problem practice. I adapt my pace to each student and encourage questions, believing that confusion is a natural and necessary part of the learning process.
