About Poppy
My name is Poppy and I have just done my GCSEs this year (2024). I am a grade 9 english literature and language student, and English is my favourite subject by far. I am currently fundraising for a trip to Kenya, which is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me. This means that not only will you be learning vital skills for your up and coming GCSEs, but by choosing me as your tutor, you will be a part of my journey!

Predominantly AQA but open to tutoring for other exam boards. I specialise in Macbeth, An Inspector Calls, A Christmas Carol, and Power&Conflict. I can go into detail about context of specific texts, as well as methods used by the author. I will also expand on how to structure essays from thesis to conclusion in order to allow students to access higher mark bands.
