About Mary Agnes

Hello! I'm Mary Agnes, a TEFL-certified English tutor with a background in business, communication, and education. Before becoming an online teacher, I spent 17 years in the corporate world, where I developed strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills that I now bring into my lessons.

I enjoy helping adults and professionals build confidence in speaking English through personalized, engaging conversations rather than one-size-fits-all lessons. My teaching combines practical communication, vocabulary development, pronunciation, and grammar in a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves.

I believe learning happens best when lessons are meaningful, enjoyable, and connected to your interests. My goal is not only to help you improve your English but also to help you communicate with confidence in everyday life, work, and beyond.

About the lesson

Learning English isn't about memorizing perfect grammar—it's about gaining the confidence to express yourself.

I create personalized lessons that feel more like meaningful conversations than traditional classes. Every session is designed around your goals and interests, helping you develop natural fluency while discussing topics you genuinely enjoy, from music and business to technology, culture, and everyday life.

Rather than following the same lesson plan for everyone, I adapt each class to your learning style. You'll improve your vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and speaking confidence through engaging discussions, role plays, storytelling, and practical communication activities.

Whether you're preparing for work, travel, interviews, or simply want to speak English more comfortably, I'll provide a supportive environment where mistakes become opportunities to grow and every lesson helps you communicate with greater confidence.
