About Mapy

About Me

Hello! I'm Mapy, a TEFL-certified English tutor and Biology graduate who enjoys helping students learn, grow, and communicate with confidence. With experience teaching English online, I have learned the importance of patience, clear explanations, and adapting lessons to each student's individual needs.

I understand that learning English can sometimes feel challenging, especially when you are shy or afraid of making mistakes. That is why I strive to create a welcoming and encouraging environment where you can feel comfortable asking questions, practicing your skills, and expressing your ideas.

My background in Biology has strengthened my attention to detail, analytical thinking, and appreciation for continuous learning. Combined with my teaching experience, these qualities help me explain concepts clearly and make lessons engaging and easy to follow.

I enjoy working with learners of different ages and proficiency levels. Whether you are learning English for school, work, travel, exams, or everyday conversations, I will do my best to support you throughout your learning journey.

My goal is to help you develop practical English skills, become more confident in expressing yourself, and enjoy the process of learning. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your English learning goals!

About the lesson

Hi! I'm Mapy, a TEFL-certified English tutor with a degree in Biology and experience teaching English online. I enjoy helping students improve their English in a fun, comfortable, and supportive learning environment.

I use a student-centered approach, adapting each lesson to your level, interests, goals, and learning pace. My teaching techniques include guided conversations, simple grammar explanations, vocabulary practice, pronunciation exercises, role-playing, games, and real-life examples. I encourage students to speak freely and learn from their mistakes without feeling embarrassed or pressured.

We start with a short warm-up or review, then focus on your learning goals through interactive activities and practical exercises. Depending on your needs, we can practice speaking, reading, writing, grammar, or vocabulary. I provide corrections, examples, and feedback to help you understand your mistakes and apply what you learn. We finish by reviewing key points and identifying areas to improve.

I am patient, approachable, and adaptable. I understand that learning a new language can be challenging, especially when you feel shy or struggle to find the right words. I help you organize your thoughts, express yourself more naturally, and build confidence one step at a time. I believe that every student learns differently, and I am happy to adjust my teaching style to suit you.

My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to intermediate learners and beyond. Whether you want to improve everyday conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, school performance, travel English, workplace communication, or prepare for English proficiency exams such as IELTS, I can help you work toward your goals.

Let's learn English together and make every lesson a positive step toward speaking with greater confidence!
