About Franchette Marie

Hi, I'm Marie, a TEFL-certified English tutor from the Philippines. I've been teaching English online since 2024, working with kids and adults on platforms like 51Talk, Achieve, and Polly English.

Before teaching full-time, I worked in customer service for US companies, including healthcare and retail accounts. Speaking English every day with clients taught me how real, natural English is used, and I bring that into my lessons. I also hold a degree in Medical Technology, so I can help with healthcare or science English too.

I'm patient, friendly, and always prepared. My students tell me they feel comfortable speaking with me, even when they make mistakes. I can't wait to help you reach your English goals!

About the lesson

My lessons are relaxed, fun, and built around you. Whether you're a child just starting out or an adult who wants to speak more confidently at work or while traveling, I'll adjust each class to your level and goals.

We'll focus on real conversation, so you get plenty of speaking time. I'll help you with pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary in a simple, patient way, and I'll gently correct mistakes so you learn without feeling nervous. For kids, I use games, pictures, and lots of encouragement to keep them excited.

I'm TEFL-certified and have taught students from different countries on platforms like 51Talk, Achieve, and Polly English. I've seen shy students become confident speakers, and that's my goal for you too. Book a lesson and let's start!
