About Marcella
Hi, it's so nice to meet you! My name is Marcella, and I grew up in Brazil before moving to the USA. I've studied English my whole life, but I understand what it feels like to be in a different country than the one you grew up in and having to navigate life in a foreign language - it can be scary. That's why I got my certificate to teach English, and why my classes are not about me - they're all about YOU. Our lesson plan will be completely catered to your needs and reasons for wanting to learn English, and together we will come up with the best, easiest, and most fun way to improve your knowledge, for traveling, working, studying or just living life in English.

Hey students! I bet you're wondering right now if this lesson is for you or if you should scroll down to the next teacher, and let me tell you - I got you! My classes are absolutely not about me - they are about you. I have many years of teaching experience in many subjects, and based on that I do not keep a fixed teaching method. I studied many techniques for years to be able to personalize completely my lesson plans to YOUR NEEDS. So you are all that matters - your wants and needs, and your reasons for learning English. Are you living in the USA and struggling with navigating life in a foreign language? Want to nail a job interview? Have the dream of traveling the world? It doesn't matter what your goal is, I will help you get there! Talking more about the specifics, my classes are for all ages and levels. For levels A1 (beginner) to B2 (upper-intermediate), the lesson plan is more grammar focused to give you a better understanding of the language and how it works, but it still includes a lot of communication and room for personalization based on what you need. For more advanced students (C1-2), the focus is mostly on conversation on the topics that are important for your goals, to improve your vocabulary and give you the necessary confidence to get everything you want!
