About Toby
Hello, my name's Toby and I am a 21 year old student from the UK. I've enjoyed learning languages and grammar for as long as I can remember, and love helping others to do the same. My hobbies are baking, cooking, climbing and music, and I especially love discovering new songs and dishes from other countries. Whatever your English teaching needs are I'd be happy to help! I have experience teaching students whose first language is not English, and have also studied languages myself, so I know the struggles that many students face.

I have one year teaching experience in Spain, and have also been learning languages myself for 8 years, so I understand how to tailor learning to suit individuals and how to explain differences between English and other languages. I have a TEFL level 5 certificate in teaching English as a foreign language, as well as a specialisation certificate in business English. I love using real world resources, such as books, newspapers and songs, to help bridge the gap between grammar and speaking. I also enjoy making resources based around student's interests, in order to engage them and provide them with the tools they need to introduce themselves to others.
