About Jane

I have been working with students since 1998 -- children, teens, and adults. Each tutoring situation is different as I cater to the student's needs, skills, and personality.

Success is generally measured by an increase in the student's confidence, skill level, and performance.

My students have needs including: academically gifted, learning disabled, ADHD, Autism, ESL, SAT Prep, GRE prep...basically anything you could imagine.

I absolutely LOVE teaching students math. It doesn't have to be difficult -- and I think I'm pretty good at making it fun & easy to understand :)!

About me: I am especially well versed in instructional strategies and strive to promote creativity, joy for learning, and a strong foundation in essential skills like organization, assignment completion, and test prep.

I am a certified teacher licensed in special education, NC K-12, and I hold advanced degrees (M.Ed., Ed.S) in special education and neurobiological influences on learning.
