About Tanner
As a current high school teacher (and long-time high school student) I know how tough the grind can be. Whole class novels, grammar worksheets, five paragraph essays, it all seems like the death of our barely surviving brain cells. As for me, I prefer to call English the study of Effective Communication, and with me as your tutor, we will go through how to make you a better communicator; think reading and writing, but also speaking and listening. All the sad, difficult parts of English will go to the wayside so that we can focus on the practical aspects of being a good communicator, then translate those skills into a more academic, high school and college approach.

Tanner is a great teacher and he really shines when it comes to presenting students with various ways to learn. He can adapt to any student’s needs and his young age makes it easier for him to relate to the students and the struggles they may face. He has experience teaching in a classroom and has learned many methods to help him lead his students in their education.
Tanner is a great teacher and has been teaching for years in several different capacities. Tanner spent two years in the Philippines on a proselytizing mission for his church. In that time he used church curriculum to teach people about the beliefs of his faith. Tanner has a love for reading and writing and has won numerous contests for his original work. He is passionate about the use of language as a way to convey feelings. Tanner's love of English teaching will aid anyone looking for help in English coursework.
