I lead a department of an Ofsted-rated 'outstanding' school with 7 Geography teachers, all with 10+ years of teaching. I'm very grateful to have such a great rapport with the students. Since I've taken over as head of the department, the subject has now become the most popular in the school. My deep understanding of subject knowledge and marking criteria makes students feel secure in my lessons. I've tutored A level for a year and the student prior to my tutoring was on a B, she ended up with an A*. My lessons will be an hour long and i can teach anyone between 11-18. I teach both Physical and Human A level to a very high standard which separates me from other Geography teachers who normally specialise in one.
