Jack Nurse is one of the most hardworking people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Jack is a theatre director and playwright and he has had his play produced at some of the most established theatres in the UK. His literacy and numeracy skills are excellent and he regularly manages complex high budget theatre projects. I recently employed Jack at the Ayr Gaiety Theatre to design learning resources for our flagship heritage project Back To The Gaiety. He has an in-depth understanding of the Scottish and English education systems and he is an excellent collaborator. I have also worked alongside Jack delivering workshops in a multitude of settings from schools to working with pre-existing community groups. Jack has a brilliant track record of working with a diverse range of young people and in particular working with young people who struggle to engage with mainstream education. In regards to tutoring, Jack will be one of the finest people you could hire.
Jack coached me on monologues for upcoming auditions and his advise was invaluable. His director’s eye helped shape the piece and gave me a deeper understanding of characters. Jack understands where his students are at and knows how to work with that and build on it.
