About Ignacio
I am a university lecturer and researcher with extensive experience teaching Political Science and International Relations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. My academic background combines work in theory, methodology, geopolitics, and international security — areas that I consider essential for developing a critical understanding of global affairs. Having studied and worked in different countries, including the UK and Latin America, I bring an international perspective to my teaching. I have supervised research projects and helped students improve their analytical, writing, and conceptual skills in political and social theory. My goal is to help learners engage critically with complex ideas and strengthen their academic confidence.

My lessons are adapted to each student’s goals and background. I focus on discussion, conceptual clarity, and the application of theoretical and methodological approaches to real-world issues. Depending on the student’s needs, we can work on essay writing, research design, or the analysis of key authors and schools of thought in political theory, geopolitics, and international security. Classes are conversational and intellectually engaging, aiming not only to clarify academic content but also to foster independent thinking and critical reflection. I offer support for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as anyone interested in developing a deeper understanding of global politics and international relations.
