About Pratish

I am an RYT-500 Certified Therapeutic Yoga Specialist with 10+ years of experience helping people resolve chronic back pain, neck stiffness, posture imbalances, and stress-related muscular tension through a structured corrective yoga system.

Most posture and pain issues are not caused by lack of exercise, but by long sitting habits, movement dysfunction, and accumulated muscular compensation patterns.

I work with desk professionals, IT employees, entrepreneurs, and remote workers who experience stiffness, poor posture, reduced mobility, and stress-related physical tension.

My approach is an assessment-based therapeutic system focused on correcting movement patterns, restoring mobility, and improving spinal alignment at the root level.

This is not general yoga. It is a structured corrective method designed for long-term relief, posture transformation, and nervous system regulation.

Each session is a structured therapeutic yoga practice designed to correct posture, reduce pain, improve mobility, and regulate stress through systematic body–breath re-education.

Unlike general yoga classes or random sequences, every session follows a progressive corrective system that targets movement patterns, breathing mechanics, and nervous system regulation—addressing the root cause of physical discomfort.

60-MINUTE THERAPEUTIC FLOW
Each class is guided step-by-step:
• Gentle mobility work + yogic breathing to prepare the body
• Therapeutic Surya Namaskar + corrective asanas for alignment and mobility
• Targeted breath regulation to release tension and improve stability
• Pranayama techniques for nervous system balance and stress reduction
• Deep relaxation through Yoga Nidra / Meditation / Shavasana (rotational)

A structured therapeutic system integrating:

  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

    Yoga is not just an exercise, it is a holistic lifestyle that helps reduce stress, boost energy, and bring balance to everyday life.
    After starting practicing yoga many years back to come out of depression,when I was totally cured, I was amazed by incredible health benefits of yoga and I started taking interest in knowing more about yoga.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

    I Experienced the healing and life-changing effects of yoga personally by practicing yoga many years ago and I was fascinated by total transformation in my life at mental, physical and spiritual level. So I decided to teach this wonderful practice to people so that they can have same health benefits which I gained by learning.
  • How does your work help society?

    Through yoga, I help people reduce stress, improve flexibility and strength, and overcome common health issues like poor sleep, fatigue, and back pain.
    My classes also focus on mindfulness and breathing techniques, which bring mental clarity, emotional balance, and inner peace. In short, I guide people to feel healthier, calmer, and more connected to themselves in daily life.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

    If I had to choose a role model for my work as a yoga teacher, it would be Maharshi Patanjali. He organised the wisdom of yoga into the Yoga Sutras, creating a clear path for physical health, mental balance, self-discipline, and inner growth.

    What inspires me most is that his teachings are practical and timeless. They show that yoga is not only about physical postures, but also about breath awareness, mindfulness, emotional balance, and living with greater clarity and peace.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

    Outside of yoga, I enjoy reading books on self-growth and spirituality, listening to soothing music, and singing. I also love traveling to peaceful, remote places to connect with the beauty and serenity of nature. Spending time with my childhood friends brings me joy and helps me stay grounded.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

    One of my students came to me struggling with severe stress and insomnia due to work pressure. Within a few weeks of regular online yoga practice, combined with simple breathing and relaxation techniques, she started sleeping peacefully and felt more energetic during the day. Hearing her say, ‘Yoga has given me my life back,’ was one of the most rewarding moments of my teaching journey. Experiences like these inspire me every day to continue guiding others through yoga.
