About Kayla

Hi, I'm Kayla! I'm a third-year Bachelor of Education student (Intermediate Phase) studying through UNISA, and I live in Fish Hoek.

I spend my days working with learners in a real classroom, so I understand how hard it can be for learners to make sense of lessons sometimes, where they usually get stuck, and how to explain things in a way that finally makes sense. I'm patient, I keep lessons relaxed and fun, and I focus on building confidence as much as marks.

My studies cover Maths education and Natural Sciences, and I love helping learners see that these subjects aren't as scary as they seem.

About the lesson

Hi everyone!

I'm Kayla, a third-year BEd student (Intermediate Phase) living in Fish Hoek, and I'm now offering one-on-one lessons for Grades 1 to 9.

Maths: building confidence and filling gaps
English: reading and comprehension
Natural Sciences: making concepts click with simple, hands-on explanations

I work with learners in a classroom every day, so I know how to keep lessons relaxed, patient and fun. Lessons are one hour, either at your home or mine, in the evenings or on weekends.

R150 an hour, and your child's first lesson is free so you can see if we're a good fit.
