About Jing Yi
I've always enjoyed STEM and I like helping others gain confidence and interest in STEM. In 2019, I began my tutoring journey when my teachers needed assistance in teaching some of my juniors. En route, I discovered my passion for helping others in academia and thus, decided to continue this journey even after I'd graduated from high school. Over the course of four years, I've gained experience working with students from different learning backgrounds and academic levels. For me, the most precious thing about tutoring is the feeling of accomplishment when pupils can finally grasp the subject concepts and develop a confidence in learning.

Lessons are flexible so you get to decide what you would like to learn. Some of the help I offer include strengthening topical understanding (using notes, question banks, diagrams etc.) and homework guidance.
Normally, sessions are held online and last between 1-2 hours. We can also arrange for face-2-face lessons but the location must be within 10km of the Adelaide CBD and a travel surcharge will apply.

I'm Jing Yi's neighbour and she tutored my son for some time. Jing Yi's is very good at solving problems and explaining the steps. Sometimes, she also gives tips to help my son remember certain concepts. Overall I would say that her main style of teaching is guiding students to answer questions, rather than teaching concepts, and I would rate Jing Yi a 4/5.
I'm JingYi's high school classmate. She's meticulous and serious about her work, which I think is a good thing because it shows that she is responsible. She's also one of the most brilliant people in our class, so her knowledge base is quite solid. Overall, JingYi's the person to go to if we needed a confidence boost or simply a quick fact check.
