About Sophia
Academic Achievement:
I achieved A*A*A* at A level in English Literature, Philosophy and Psychology and an A* in my EPQ focusing on the historical development of the fantasy novel.
I achieved 9s in both English Literature and Language at GCSE.
I am very passionate about English as an academic discipline. My main areas of interest in my degree are Modernism, Shakespeare and poetry.
I am currently beginning research for my dissertation on Shakespearean tragedy, meaning I am an expert in making his plays understandable and fun :).
I will also try my very best to help you enjoy (or at least appreciate) poetry!!
I really enjoy teaching as I find helping students achieve their full potential very rewarding :).
