About Carlos
Carlos Ramos, Berklee College of Music Graduate, is a dynamic and in-demand trumpet artist working at the intersection of jazz, commercial music, and live touring. Equally at home in high-energy festival stages, intimate club settings, and Broadway orchestra pits, He brings versatility, musicality, and a powerful, expressive sound to every performance.
He is currently the touring trumpeter for a Latin GRAMMY-winning artist. With the group, he's performed on some of the world's most iconic stages and festivals, including the Latin GRAMMY's, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Coachella, Camp Flog Knaw, Glastonbury, Lollapalooza Berlin & Paris & Chicago, Montreux Jazz Festival, Fuji Rock Festival, Outside Lands. He also toured with them as the opener for Kendrick Lamar's Grand National Tour through South America.
His experience in musical theater includes new stage productions such as the premiere of Real Women Have Curves at A.R.T in Cambridge, Massachusetts and the Broadway national tours of The Cher Show and How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

I want to create a safe environment to teach young trumpeters. My students should feel open to express their musical experiences and ideas with me. I aim to challenge them and set clear goals with where they want their playing to take them, but also allow them to enjoy playing the trumpet. We will develop routines focused on fundamentals and theory training to grow as musicians.
