About Surya
I am humanities student researching ideology in culture at UT Austin. I am emotional abuse advocate and survivor seeking a PHD in talk therapy for individuals who have experienced trauma. I have had to develop my own strategies for managing my panic attacks and anxiety terrors in my waking life. I am a student myself working towards professional career in this area and would like to be of service if I can.

My teaching approach starts with talk therapy and utilizes hands on strategies that I have used involving deep diaphragmatic breathing for which I have several years of training in as a voice student. I am A compassionate listener, And will utilize my hands on strategies of journaling breathing and movement for which have been very beneficial in my own life.
