About Layasree
I have learnt carnatic classical for a few years, and I'm currently learning Hindustani music. Also deeply interested in western theory and singing techniques. A BA student, but have now taken the bold decision to pursue music as my career.

I teach in the traditional way, but i like to get creative and innovate new ways to teach different concepts. I use flashcards, images, videos, and audios to make theorotical concepts clearer. I am also an artist and i have often employed drawing and painting as a means to teach music! I go to great lengths to understand the student's requirements and teach in a way that is best for my student. Learning with me would require a commitment to riyaz ( consistent daily practise ).
