I am a trained social anthropologist from Northern Borneo. My academic research focuses on the phenomenon of ethnicity and identity-making in the diverse ethnic landscape of Sabah, Malaysia.

I had the privilege to serve as one of the industrial supervisors to Razsyarizzand Rindu in 2023 during his time as a student intern at the Society for Equality, Respect, and Trust for All (SERATA). Raz used to take on a role as SERATA's program coordinator assistant, where he successfully managed multiple community-based projects. In some of the projects, Raz was tasked with delivering an awareness-related lecture, particularly on the topic of gender and sexuality. His effectiveness in delivering a lecture is evident, judging by the interaction he had with and responses from the audience on multiple occasions. Some other qualities about Raz that really stand out are his confidence and enthusiasm, especially when it involves teaching and learning. He also loves to meet new people and build connections. I think Raz is a well-rounded individual, and he would be a perfect teacher for you.

Having known Razsyarizzand for almost a year, I can confirm that his communication skills are exceptional. He had demonstrated his ability to articulate ideas effectively in all of his presentations and received positive feedback from the lecturers. I can always depend on Raz for guidance. For example, when I needed help in writing my research proposal, Raz would be the first person to offer assistance, and he would spend time sharing his ideas on how I could elaborate my argument comprehensively. I would say that Raz would do an excellent job as an educator.

Razsyarizzand and I first met in 2024, when he enrolled as a graduate student at University Malaysia Sabah. He is a remarkable student who you could learn a lot from. He has the ability to communicate complex ideas, and you can always understand what he is trying to communicate because his explanations are so detailed. I can talk to Raz about anything. He is knowledgeable and could engage in a discussion on a range of subjects. Raz always asked relevant questions, which allowed me to consider different points of view about the subject matter. He is always energetic, and you could feel his passion coming out of his vein when he's talking. People around him are always influenced by him because he showed excellent leadership. Raz is approachable and friendly. I would definitely recommend Raz!
