About Lauren
My name is Lauren Baxter. I have spent the last thirteen years teaching English and Drama all around the world for prestigious schools such as Dulwich International and am now en route to a new life in Australia.
I am a vibrant, well-experienced educator who thrives on challenges and inspires learners. Dedicated to ensuring all students are given the chance to reach high and succeed, I endeavour to engage and motivate my students, incite lifelong learners and shape globally-aware individuals, who feel empowered and resilient.
With a love for the outdoors, you will often find me on a hike, or playing around on a paddleboard. I am an Adventurous Journey Leader for the Duke of Edinburgh Award and love to help my students understand their connection to the earth, through Global Issues or being in nature.

My lessons are an hour long and I aim to engage and inspire my students. I outline clear objectives to the lesson, with reflection points throughout to gauge understanding and progress. My lessons are particularly for students working towards GCSE, A-Level and IB exams, so each objective will be clearly linked to the curriculum of study and exam criteria. Most importantly, my lessons will be fun and will hopefully ignite a passion for English Language and Literature!
