About Jitendra
I have been taking classes for GMAT/CAT/GRE & SAT for the last 14 years, which includes private and group training. I have been a lead trainer with top institutes for these prep training for a good number of years. I generally start with one diagnostic test or if someone has already practiced a few mock tests, then I ask for their scores, the topics, and the types of questions they made mistakes on or faced difficulty with on a recurring basis. This helps me identify the problematic topics/types of questions so that we can focus more on those areas. Also, we provide content and practice questions for each topic that have already been asked or are on par with the relevant prep exam. After all, for scoring high on GMAT/CAT/GRE & SAT, one does not need to be a master of the subject but to master the techniques/tricks to solve questions and that too in a limited time. GMAT/CAT/GRE & SAT exams generally do not deviate much from the set trend and pattern. Also, there are a few topics that cover a good weight of the exam, so understanding and practicing these questions well is very critical for scoring high on these exams. This is a general strategy that I adopt, but the planning of the classes very much depends upon the candidate's weaknesses, strengths, and critical areas. Moreover, we look into the individual mock test scores or their actual scores if they have already taken these exams once, to devise a strategy specific to them for maximum improvement.
