About Alberto
I hold a bachelor’s degree in English and Japanese Translation and Interpreting from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and have been trained in teaching French as a foreign language and Japanese at INALCO in Paris. I also took part in the Asian Studies Program at Kansai Gaidai, Osaka. I have a Master’s degree in teaching Spanish as a second language, where my thesis focused on the difficulties Chinese speakers encounter when learning Spanish. I fine-tuned my Mandarin while collaborating with Cervantes Institute in Beijing.
During those years, I have combined my work as a translator and interpreter with teaching Spanish, French, English, Japanese and Catalan.
Using a communicative teaching methodology that adapts to my students’ objectives, I have trained company employees from multiple fields, taught courses for the unemployed, organised by the Catalan government, along with language courses in private language schools in several countries.
