About Crystal
I am a singer and songwriter who has performed around NYC in various settings, has been teaching in NYC for about 5 years (independently and with different companies), and I also have experience working with children. I have a BFA in Jazz and Contemporary Music from the New School, and have studied with instructors such as Jamie Leonhart (singer/songwriter), Nick Hakim (NPR “Green Twins”), LaTanya Hall (Steely Dan), Kevyn Lettau (Jazz Vocalist), Claudia Acuña (Jazz Vocalist), and many more. I loving helping students developing a healthy technique and constructive habits to strengthen their own unique voice.
