About Mislene

I hold a bachelor's degree in Business Management and Accounting, plus TEFL certification from International Open Academy. I am fluent in English and Creole, with conversational French skills, allowing me to support learners from diverse backgrounds. My approach is patient, flexible, and focused on creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and making mistakes. My business background gives me the ability to connect academic lessons to real-world applications, making learning more meaningful. Students can count on me to be professional, well-prepared, and genuinely committed to helping them reach their goals through personalized instruction.

About the lesson

As a TEFL-certified trilingual educator, I create personalized learning experiences that bridge language and cultural barriers. I believe everyone learns differently, so my approach combines patience, flexibility, and multiple teaching methods to help students master both English and mathematics with confidence.
My Teaching Method:
I recognize that each student has a unique learning style, so I use various approaches including interactive conversations for English, visual demonstrations for math, hands-on activities, and auditory explanations. Lessons are conducted primarily in English with Creole or French support when needed to clarify complex concepts. I adapt continuously based on what works best for each individual student.
Typical Lesson Structure:

Warm-up conversation practice (English) or review of previous concepts (Math)
New material introduction using multiple learning methods
Interactive practice with immediate feedback
Real-world application exercises tailored to student interests
Progress assessment and personalized next steps planning

What Sets Me Apart:
My business management background brings practical context to lessons, while my remote work experience helps me create engaging online learning environments. I understand that everyone learns differently and the challenges of learning in a second or third language, providing culturally sensitive instruction that adapts to each student's unique needs.

Perfect For:

Students ages 6+ through adult learners.
Elementary through advanced levels in both subjects.
French and Creole speakers learning English.
Anyone seeking patient, individualized instruction.
Students preparing for exams, interviews, or academic advancement.
