LEGAL ENGLISH & ACADEMIC ENGLISH TUTOR
Are you a law student, lawyer, trainee solicitor, juriste, or legal professional who needs to work confidently in English?
I offer specialised Legal English tuition combining legal expertise with professional language teaching experience.
My background is unusual: I hold degrees in both English Law and French Law, a Master's degree in Education, the French CAPES and Agrégation in English. I have been teaching English for over 10 years, including to law students, and have previously lectured in English Tort Law and English Criminal Law at a French university.
I can help you:
• Improve your Legal English vocabulary and accuracy
• Understand Common Law terminology and concepts
• Draft professional legal emails and correspondence
• Read and analyse contracts, case law and legal articles
• Prepare for interviews, internships and international opportunities
• Develop academic writing skills for university assignments and dissertations
• Improve oral fluency for meetings, presentations and client interactions
I work with:
• Law students
• LLB and LLM candidates
• French-speaking lawyers and juristes
• International legal professionals
• University students studying in English
• Professionals working with international clients
Lessons are tailored to your needs and may focus on speaking, writing, legal drafting, academic English, contract language, case analysis, or professional communication.
I teach online and can work in either English or French when clarification is needed.
Please contact me to discuss your goals and arrange an initial free 30-minute consultation.
