About Jelisa
My name is Jelisa Hines and I am 21 years old. All throughout middle school I participated in concert band and jazz band. From sophomore year to highschool I participated in the wind ensemble, marching band, and jazz band.
I am passionate about trumpet performance and would love to share my knowledge with anyone trying to learn.

I want to help others explore their musical talents by exposing them to reading music, how each type of note sounds within the beats, intonation how to identify chords, and overcome fundamental obstacles that beginner trumpeters may face.
I spent 3 years in concert band, 3 years in marching band, 2 years in jazz band, and 2 years in wind ensemble. In my senior year of high school, I dropped to 3rd trumpet to assist incoming freshmen with marching fundamentals and learning 3rd trumpet parts. My senior year we received an overall superiority in our marching competition.
My lessons are specifically for anyone looking to learn more about trumpet performance, needs extra assistance with pieces or needs extra guidance with marching and musical fundamentals.
