About Jessica
I am currently a student at The University of California, San Diego. I am majoring in biochemistry with a minor in Healthcare- Social Issues. I plan to either pursue a PhD in biophysics or attended medical school following graduation at UCSD. I have tutored for many years and really enjoy helping people understand the classes that I enjoyed so much.

I know chemistry can be a tough subject. I remember chemistry being my most disliked subject in high school until I switched high schools and had an amazing teacher that broke down the concepts; today I am majoring in biochemistry. I can tutor in organic chemistry, general chemistry, biochemistry and physical biochemistry. I also have tutored calculus, physiology and algebra. I like to focus on the fundamentals of a subject and build on that. I also believe that talking through concepts is an excellent way of truly learning the material. I often write up question problems to work through with those I tutor.
