About Beth
I want to give back the support that was given to me through tutoring in my GCSE years, which helped me grow academically and in confidence too.
I know that during school you can't always access the help that you need, and being able to have that support and guidance outside is so beneficial for not only your grades, but your self belief and esteem.
My motivation to help students learn, grow and feel comfortable will always shine through, and I can guarantee that you will leave our sessions feeling encouraged, motivated, and closer to your goals.

After speaking with the student and discussing their needs and goals, as well as the content they need to cover, I structure the lesson accordingly, with the learning goals we want to achieve.
During the lesson, we cover the material methodically and at a pace that suits the student, and can diverge into any specifics that the student is struggling with.
Utilising past papers, questions, quizzes and games, we will make sure the topics covered are understood, and no student leaves feeling overwhelmed or confused
A lesson is typically 1 hour, and at the end of each session, we discuss what we'll do for the next lesson, and I will plan in advance. Outside of lessons I am also available for questions and resources.
I am a 21 year old female university student, studying Music in Education as part of my university degree. I achieved A** in both English Literature and Language, as well as Drama, Art and History.
With my own personal experience of being tutored, I understanding what makes a good teacher, that helps you reach your academic goals, and most importantly, helps you feel comfortable and motivated.
My lessons are for KS3-GCSE students in English Literature and Language, as well as creative writing, or Drama GCSE writing.
