About Falak

As a dedicated Biomedical Sciences student with a strong academic background and a passion for teaching, I’m committed to helping students feel confident and capable in Science. I understand how overwhelming GCSE content can feel, which is why I focus on clear, supportive explanations and personalised guidance. Every student is different, and I take the time to adapt my approach to suit their individual needs and learning style. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to build real understanding and self-belief. I’m punctual, organised, and always prepared to make the most of each session. Whether your goal is exam preparation or long-term improvement, I’ll work with you to get there in a calm and encouraging environment.

About the lesson

My lessons are typically 1 to 1.5 hours long and are delivered online for convenience and flexibility. I'm currently studying Biomedical Sciences at university, which gives me a strong academic foundation and up-to-date understanding of scientific concepts. My teaching approach is interactive and student-centred—I believe that every student learns differently, so understanding how they process and retain information is essential. I tailor each session to suit their individual learning style, using clear explanations, visual aids, and past paper practice to build confidence and exam technique. Lessons are ideal for students aged 13–16 who want to strengthen their understanding, boost performance, or prepare for exams.

Falak has been tutoring my two daughters for the past two years (Year 10 and 11), and honestly, she’s been a total game-changer. Science went from being their most stressful subject to something they actually felt confident in—and that’s all thanks to Falak’s patient, clear, and down-to-earth teaching style.

She’s super easy to talk to, always well-prepared, and knows exactly how to break things down in a way that actually makes sense. My girls both looked forward to their sessions (which says a lot!) and they did really well in their GCSEs with her help.
